I work full time, go to school full time, and I'm a full time mom to my beautiful 5 year old son. I've made mistakes in my life just like everyone else, but it's getting better. Well, I hope so anyways.

I'm an independent person with attitude to spare, but I won't give any of it up. I have a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. I love to laugh, but am mostly serious. I read incessantly. I read any and everything but love a good romance.

I'm not an optimistic person, nor am I pessimistic. I see a glass that has stuff in it that will probably get knocked over or will sit there and mold. I'm a dreamer and a realist, which don't usually mix.

I have drive and determination to accomplish any and everything I set my mind to. I'm a hard worker, sometimes too hard, but that is my cross to bear. When I'm upset, worried, stressed out, angry, I work. Some people throw things, some people take it out on other people... I just work instead.

I've been an insomniac all of my life. I love the night too much to waste it sleeping. I don't do drugs, I barely drink and I have an average of 3 cigarettes a year. That being said, I don't judge others that choose differently. I respect differences of opinion and people self-assured enough to voice them. I abhor being placated. It makes me want to kick you in the head. So... don't do that.

My son is my motivation in the insanity we call life. He makes me be stronger than I was aware I had the capacity for. He's my angel. I don't write often about him, the reason is simple. He's far too precious to share details with the anonymous. It's protective, as his care and well being is entrusted to me.

In other news, I am happy in love with my best friend, who is a more wonderful man than I could ever imagine or probably deserve. He is everything that I could have ever hoped for, and then just a little bit more.
